Alexandra Halberstadt
Alexandra is a clinical psychology doctoral intern at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is completing her doctorate in clinical psychology at The Pennsylvania State University. Her research focuses on interpersonal personality, or who we are when we are interacting with others. This line of research informs her approach to therapy, which combines evidence-based interventions with a focus on the relationship between herself and the client, and the relationships the client has outside of therapy. Alexandra has experience in treating clients from a range of theoretical orientations, including cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic, and she uses her expertise to tailor interventions to each person that she sees. Alexandra offers patient services through the DTTG clinic.
